Each year we have our Annual Meeting in Rome to evaluate and planning in the Jesuit General Curia.
This year too it was there from 24 th to 27 th January. The great day was the audience with the Holy Father
on 26 th January. An hour before we were taken to the Apostolic Palace. The Pope came walking but
looked very tired as he had already 3 audiences. He sat on his chair and addressed us, encouraging us to
work assiduously for the mission of the PWPN and EYM. Then each one of us met him personally giving
him some memento or conversing with him for 2 minutes. I gave him our newly printed South Asian
Handbook of EYM and some brochures. He said to me India needs a lot of prayers. He gave each one of
us a Rosary. The visit to the Pope brought a lot of joy and rejuvenation to be more dedicated in our
mission of the PWPN and EYM.
